Christopher Nuneviller is a recognized attorney dedicated to protecting the interests of his clients. Mr. Nuneviller's experience is both broad and diverse gained through advising small and midsized businesses, advising executive branch political appointees, and serving as the chief of staff for an independent federal agency. He is also a consultant to the Department of Veteran Affairs, provides tort litigation expertise where military compensation matters intersect with personal injury and medical malpractice claims, and serves as Special Military Counsel to a number of military law firms.

Mr. Nuneviller is a veteran of the U. S. Navy, and the U.S. Army rising to the rank of major. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, and his law degree from the Widener University Commonwealth Law School, concentrating his studies on corporate finance.

Bridging Civilian Practice With Military Needs

As a private sector attorney, Mr. Nuneviller began his legal career as the associate corporate counsel as director of its subrogation unit. He later joined an investment manager as its general counsel, chief administrative officer and chief compliance officer supervising 50-plus domestic and off-shore venture capital partnerships.

As a U.S. Army Judge Advocate, Mr. Nuneviller served in both a "weekend warrior" status and on active duty. Mr. Nuneviller served in a deputy general counsel-like position with the U.S. Army Human Resources Command, as a special assistant to the army general counsel, and leadership roles for special projects of the secretary of defense. In these roles, Mr. Nuneviller became a recognized expert in military compensation and personnel matters through his oversight of army litigation, the Army Review Boards Agency, and numerous special projects to implement military personnel legislation. Mr. Nuneviller left the military in 2012.

From 2013 to 2016, Mr. Nuneviller served as the chief of staff to the Military Compensation and Retirement Modernization Commission. In 2018, the commission's recommendations for new military retirement system and changes to the military dependent and retiree medical insurance programs were implemented by the Department of Defense.
